Agnetha Faltskog

Though she's earned a name for herself as an artist on her own from Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be best remembered as a member of 'ABBA' which is one of the most famous and well-known rock bands of all time. When she left school at age 15 to explore a career in music She soon discovered herself singing with Bernt Enghardt's band and attracted a fan following. They signed her to a recording contract by Enghardt and the debut album charted in Sweden. Bjorn was her husband, and they joined ABBA. ABBA was among the top pop stars around the globe over the period of eight years. The group won the gold and platinum awards throughout the globe. Post-ABBA was released, she had three albums: 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' as well as 'Eyes Of A Woman as well as 'I stand alone'. All that were hugely successful in Sweden and gained popularity throughout Europe as well but didn't make it to the top of charts in the U.S. As the '80s were coming to an end and she entered into an unofficial retirement. ABBA played on the show "Mamma Mia!. Within the U.K., 'My Coloring Book" was ranked at number 11. Her album has been met with a positive reception to her new album "A.'
