Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel was a British actor who gained notoriety for her role as Missandei in HBO's epic fantasy "Game of Thrones" (HBO from 2011 to 19). Emmanuel was born in and was raised in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's beach resort, has always been interested in acting. Her mother quickly took notice that she was a performer, and at the age of Nathalie was three-years-old, her parents enrolled her in performing, singing and dancing classes. Emmanuel became a very talented actress and singer. She was a part of the young Nala in the West End in the film "The The Lion King" in the late 1990s. Emmanuel had auditioned for roles in TV and film when she was still a teenager. The first time she was noticed was 2007, when she got chosen to play Sasha Valentine, a British soap-opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95--). Emmanuel played the character for four seasons before leaving the series in 2010. Emmanuel's next big break followed three years later. she was cast in the role of Missandei, the interpreter for the character Daenerys Targaryen (portrayed by Emilia Clarke), on HBO's "Game of Thrones." Emmanuel will go on to appear in each subsequent episode of "Game of Thrones" right up until the finale of the show in the month of May, 2019. Nathalie Nathalie Nathalie
